Bulk Feed
The bee feed team are again offering winter feed. Feed quantity is limited and orders will be taken on a first come first served basis.
The order can only be in kg (a rule of thumb is that a Syrup can when over full holds about 14kg or 10 litres but we suggest you just fill to 13kg). The amount of stores required by a colony is about 20kg of honey or feed substitute to get it through the winter. Larger hives headed by prolific queens may require more. When full a BS brood frame contains about 2.2 kg of honey, so assess the existing colony stores and feed the required balance.

The only days for collection of bee feed this year are Saturday 2nd and 9th August. Collection is from Deben View, Back Lane, FALKENHAM. IP10 0TL What3words. - All you need to do is turn up between 9am - 2pm (except for big orders of +200kg which should be collected with prior email agreement between 2pm to 4pm on Saturday 2nd or 9th August). If you are collecting bulk feed make sure the cans you bring will have the capacity to hold the amount you have ordered!!
Please note that there will be no opportunity for later pick-up after the 2 collection dates so if you can't make the collection dates then you will have to arrange for someone else to pick up your order on the collection days.
